I want to hit myself in the head with a sledgehammer to induce amnesia so I can play it again for the first time, then repeat the process until I die.

- Game getting removed from PS Plus library in March 2024. I'm not going to beat it in time and I'm not going to buy it.
- I admire the story which is about a couple being a couple. Not about people falling in love. Would love to see more games tackle this.
- I don't quite get the gameplay. It seems simple but I feel like I'm losing too much health.

The art direction and character writing in this game are top notch, however the gameplay is pretty repetitive and dull.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but it was entertaining. I like the art direction: all the cute little scenes, illustrations in the loading screens, game design, etc. It's a bit of eye candy but with a focus on the character's relationship too.

The combat is easy to learn; it's not complex which is good for casual play but it can get repetitive. Thankfully you can see the enemies on the map and stun them to avoid starting battles if you want to skip.

The movement is smooth...when it wants to be. Other times I was frustrated turning or the character suddenly deciding to flip around.

There are a couple trophies that took some guesswork and grinding. Overall though it was fun and I'm glad I took the time to play it.

I came back when they made it queer, and it was worth the wait.

I honestly wasn't expecting to have as much fun as I thought I would. Every string of elements that might seem odd click extremely well gameplay wise. Traversal feels satisfying, although sometimes clunky, and combat, turn-based, feels responsive and super simple for a broader audience. Music is excellent, fitting both the world tone and the story. Speaking of story, it's not my favourite genre, but I'm surprised how immediately I felt attached to the clever dialogue. All in all, it's a perfect package and my current GOTY

loved this game so much! it was so cute and the relationship between characters were so wholesome and even when they were arguing or didn’t see eye to eye i still felt the love between them. the gameplay loop was a lot of fun, altho i do wish the gliding mechanics were a little more smoother. it felt kinda stiff sometimes and maybe it was on purpose but i felt like it would’ve been a lot more fun if you had more freedom to move however you wanted instead of being restricted with having to drift if you wanted to make a sharp turn

Seemed really cute but it got grindy fast

pretty nice from what I've played. not much more than that.

C'est beau, mais quel ennui...

I didn't clear the islands of rust and probably missed some secrets due to the repetitive nature of mopping up butttt once I got into the groove of this, I enjoyed it. Warm, funny, relaxing, sensual and often gorgeous to look at/listen to. Would play a sequel or return to this world, for sure.

Pretty enough, but navigation and combat issues abound. A game needing a raft of QOL adjustments.

Pro Tip: Play this game while you are single and/or lonely! Just trust me, you'll have a great time.

It's like walking through molasses with the turning radius of a Boeing 747 and the combat of Dance Dance Revolution with one note coming at a time. My point is, the gameplay has issues. But I can ignore all that when a game serves me the creme de la creme of character writing and emotional storytelling. This game has the best written couple I have ever seen.

5/10

It is... fine, I guess? It's so rare for a game to depict love, and especially love life and routine, that finding a sci-fi survival game with heavy romance vibes and tons of romantic dialogues and love life depictions cannot but be fine.

At the same time, there's almost no way to interact with what's depicted. Except for dialogues, in which you control alternatively both the characters, everything soon turns out to be average, or rather quite basic, exploration/gathering-resources/defeating-anemies.

The game is good at depicting couple life and at avoiding gender stereotypes but that's basically it. It's even quite disappointing, from a narrative perspective, when it deals with more epic/decisive moments, e.g., the wrangle between the two and the ending.

This game has all of the building blocks to be good. Solid characters, solid premise, solid world to explore. But it falls flat in almost everything for me. The controls are not as tight as they need to be, and the worlds all looks the same so for someone who is directionally challenged (read: me) it was a nightmare to navigate.

The two leads are very charming, but the awkward phrasing killed anything that the voice actors were giving me. And they were giving a LOT.

A shame, and maybe I'll come back to it... but I doubt it.
