First visual novel to convey not only the look of a terminally online person's room but also somehow the smell

Completely undistinguished entry in the genre of optimistic channer literature. Do kids not read Crawl Diary anymore?

it was fine i thought it would be funnier tho idk

the proof you can be the biggest piece of shit imaginable and still be loved unconditionally if you're a girl

she's so fucking hot, I need her

Early on I took a joke option and was quickly scolded by the dev for choosing it. "I spent a year working on this game! Go back in and play it some more!" It's mentioned a couple of other times here and there, and by the end, I became painfully aware of the game's purpose for existing: it's an unfunny gag with good art, and a couple of well-worn platitudes for good measure. The visuals have a year's effort put into them, the dialogue much less so. I'm being soft here: the dialogue fucking sucks ass. It's a 50/50 split of buzzwords and cheap sentiments, and my first thought was that I wished the dev spent more than a year working on it. Then I realized that had they done that, the buzzwords would be even more outdated than they are now. So I'll cut it off here and end it with this: good art, bad everything else. Fuck off.

sonic inflation adventure is way better and philosophically denser

bought a sticker of this chick from the guys website because i thought it was funny. genuinely shocked to see he made a game of her. not surprised to hear it sucks

nothing good about this genuinely terrible

brain hurt when she called me neetpilled

Mixed feelings overall. I like the art, I've followed the artist behind it for a while, and there are some cute scenes in the game. I feel like it's kinda lacking in variety though. There are a lot of different "routes" that the game is presented as having, but they all have pretty samey dialogue or otherwise funnel into the same result beyond a few obvious "click this option for a bad ending" scenarios. A few small pieces of dialogue also kinda made me groan. The constant internet speak is fine given the character, but the casual use of "autistic" and "schizo" feels unnecessary. I'm not in a position to be offended or anything, I just think it's kinda lame to write dialogue like that. Complaints aside, the game takes less than a half hour to see everything there is to see and overall I enjoyed my short time with it. I just wish it had a little more to it.

It's probably just because I'm a geeky girl that likes geeky girls, but I thought this game was very sweet.

uh, idk how to word this lmfao this is uhhhh rlly weird to like......say coming from me but ive actually never related to a character as much as i relate to kara, like, idk, it just hits rlly close to home, its a sweet little game, very fun experience, uhhh go play it :). uh. thank god for autistic trans girls :P

worst vn i have ever played in my life. when author's sona appeared at the end i understood EVERYTHING.

embrace the cringe and enjoy life

She is SO fucking based. relatable asf. frfr. deadass. on god. the mosin-nagant? peak woman. Picnic Club? Zenith female. KIMOtherapy? Summit girl. Kara is truly one of a kind.

She told me to close my eyes. A moment later, she was gone as if she were a dream or an illusion. It's truly baffling how opportunity can escape one's field of vision in a hearbeat. NEET Girl Date Night explores the depth of the human psyche, asking us how we perceive the world around us and whether or not we believe it's worth fighting for. Kara serves as a foil to our protagonist, her NEET nature boldly contrasting with MC's outgoing personality. The moral dilemmas NEET Girl Date Night throws at the player are bold to say the least, and it goes to great lengths to show us how low we as a species can get. In this internet era where clout chasing is running rampant it's refreshing to see characters that serve to deconstruct this hellish hellscape we have backed ourselves into. Like most classics, I strongly believe NEET Girl Date Night will be studied and analyzed for years to come. It is to Gen Z what Umineko Chiru was to Millennials; a life-changing, earth shattering, sky piercing monument to the human spirit and our willingness to keep pushing forward towards our dreams.

Too bad the game sucks ass.

idk feel like people are being harsh at what is a free like 5-minute visual novel lmaooo yah like this girls needs help fr but its obviously just a dumb self aware lil thing

easily the worst game/vn i have ever played.
it panders to annoying, boring cookie cutter femcels that want to feel represented by a romanticized version of them. this is further proven by the sprite of the artist in the end of the game.
the background art is pretty, that is the only compliment i can give this game, but the sprites are ugly and static. there are also no CGs.
the choices you make in this game do not matter because the dialogue doesn't branch out and the outcome is always the same.
i disliked this project so much i unfollowed the artist on instagram. genuinely the worst 30 minutes of my life

this sucked. "Omg she is literally me" is not a reason to like something.

where do I find a girl that stinks good...

No star rating, i refuse to even have this bunched up with things ive rated (pretend its a negative 1)

this bitch is literally kanamori from eizouken without drip, and also its written for people who use profile pictures of anime girls that they havent read/seen the manga/show theyre from

a fun, cute, short little visual novel, you get 90% of the story from the title alone but i still rly like it

this game is so weird. everyone else has summarized it better than me in terms of "wow this is so chronically online, but it redeems itself sort of" but it's more than that. entering this girls dungeon that just reminds me so hard of your typical league-of-legends-playing-anime-loving-gun-obsessed-4-chan-user is almost immediately uncomfortable to me as someone who has met people like this and had the worst experiences. the true ending (?) is sort of sweet, with her realizing that being a degenerate NEET isn't really great after all, but she's just so unlikable before this point i can't believe i played it all the way through. idk. she's potentially trans and bisexual which would be cool except it's so minisculely hinted at it gives the same audience they're pandering too enough plausible deniability to ignore it. so its like. i mean i guess. only reason i wont give it a 1 is because i can understand her underlying autism coding and there was like a few minutes where i thought the character was pretty okay.
