That sure was Picross! I think I've got Picross fatigue from doing every single puzzle across 3 games this year, but it's nice mental stimulation for when I'm watching a show or YouTube video. (also I'm confused weren't they gonna add a dog in this one? 😕)
It's picross babey! It's still great, I still didn't bother with mega picross because I don't find it quite as fun. The music for color picross fucking whips, actually, and I'm pretty sure this is the first game I've had with the full set of Extra Puzzles? Damn those are huge. I did kind of charge through them in one night but they're still kind of wild. Anyway good stuff. I do kind of find myself needing a puzzle game like this every now and then for enrichment, like how every so often zookeepers will give a lion a pumpkin full of meat.
Not much to say besides "It's more Picross". It has the same polish you can expect from Jupiter's titles and the extra large puzzles are a good challenge. Didn't really like the music in this one though, but I guess I got used to whatever one I selected to play Mega Picross.
i'm mass rating all picross games 5 stars and i just realized it's gonna make my rating stats look weird but dammit picross is worth it

Color Picross is easily the best addition to this series.
It's much like the previous game in the series, and I like what it's doing, so that's fine by me. I prefer S3's music, though.
The menu theme is strangely so good ?!
Mega picross will never not be awful.
you get some bonus puzzles for owning Picross S1-3. However, the bonus puzzles are so large that viewing them comfortably is impossible. I gave up on them, may return to them if I ever run out of Picross.
