An amazing combination of horror novel visuals and Lovecraftian horror and combined with the amazing ost and characters it really kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next

Its a short visual novel but god is it impactful. Its a twisted love story viewed from the perspective of many different characters, and all endings feel like satisfactory conclusions to it. It managed to keep me on my toes at all times. Great read.

I much prefer the first half than the second one, I think it falls off after the first choice

I understand why people would prejudge this Visual novel by just looking to the cover art, but actually it is peak and I encourage every person to give it a try.

Edgiest shit I've ever read. I've enjoyed some aspects like how the protagonist percieves the world, but I did not like Saya at all; a lot of the scenes with her made me unconfortable, and not in the good horror way.

a criatura lovecraftiana carlinhos saya
essa foi uma das coisas mais broxantes que eu já li, a vn inteira me passa vibe de filme trash, os finais são legaizinhos tho

spoiler warning for this because genuinely what was the purpose of the SA scenes. like those did not have to be there for the overall vn to stay the same, it just felt like unnecessary shock factor for a vn that was able to explore horroresque elements in better ways. excluding those scenes this was a really atmospheric (? idrk how to describe it) vn that was really well written. the horror aspect is really well done, but the SA scenes just made any attempt of emotional connection to the mc / saya impossible after what happens with yoh. im sure you can show the descent into madness/inhumanity better then whatever tf that was. other then that, it was really well done, and i enjoyed the writing and bgm a lot. the cgs also really helped in developing the atmosphere. i just wish they could have. not had that.

Almost a perfect visual novel really

Un juego horrible sobre gente horrible que hace cosas horribles

i have the same problem as fuminori but you don't see me whining about it, grow a pair

Saya no Uta is amazing, genuinely one of the best openings for a story ive ever read, and just such an interesting and unique concept specially for its time. His situation makes for an amazing bittersweet relationship with Saya, which was often grueling to read, in a great way. I really would absolutely worship this game if it wasnt for the authors fetishes being absolutely plastered throughout the game, literally derailing the games story in my opinion. Eventually all the mystery is gone and the game just becomes a disgusting noncon monster porn game, which feels specially as bad when the story is already extremely predictable.
Still a fine read, I guess. And the music is great.

I'm never going to sleep again.

i mean it has it flaws and some scenes r TERRIBLY unnecessary, but this VN holds a special place in my heart <3

i hate that this game is getting such a high rating but i cant lie

Una visual novel muy bonita con cada puto final mas triste que el anterior, no me atrae mucho el tema de que el interes romantico sea una loli pero la historia merece la pena.

Some of the best horror I've had the pleasure of playing through. It doesn't overstay its welcome, really sets an atmosphere and tells a compelling story. No other story has made my stomach twist and turn like that - I had to get up and take a break a couple of times. Revolting, disgusting, and thrilling. Highly recommended so long as you don't mind some serious NSFW and NSFL stuff.

Uma experiência esquisita, no qual me senti enjoado, no bom sentido

Atmospheric masterpiece as far as visual novels go, from the writing and great prose from Urobuchi to the amazing soundtrack and sound design. Some parts of the plot could be better though and the endings did not click with me too much. Short and sweet still, great visual novel for beginners in the medium and also play the uncensored version (found as Director's Cut on GOG) to get the full story, raw and disturbing as it was meant to be.

I'm so happy that I finally have time to play it again, and this time really finishing the game!
It has three endings and they're all simply perfect, even that HW, which isn't my favorite.
Saya no Uta obviously isn't the most disturbing VN we have and I know my perception is a little distorted but it's undeniable a masterpiece, Lovecraftian horror is always a chef kiss.

Also, oh my god the soundtrack??? It tickles my brain, I love it!!
Just take care playing it if you're a sensitive person, because it has some really heavy content, even in the censored version on steam!

ignoring the lolicon, the story and concept is actually so great

this is bad because bad stuff happens in it and the main character is immoral and not a good guy.
