I may not be a that much of a fan of RPGs, but I am a big fan of South Park, hence my username. This game is not only a fantastic licensed game based on South Park, but it is also a really great game on its own right.

It is just too much fun to walk around the town, talk to NPCs and find little easter eggs and funny references to the show itself. The combat is rather simple but still really fun and easy to understand for those who may not be too familiar with RPGs and just want to play a South Park game.

But by far, the best part about this game is the writing and presentation. This game fooled my mom too when she saw me playing and thought I was watching an episode of the show. It looks so authentic that you have to appreciate the effort that went into making it look like this, even if you are not necessarily a fan of the show.

And yes, this is a South Park game, so in my opinion, it is a really funny game. In terms of plot, they don't really resort to just making references to previous episodes of the show but they actually make their own original well thought story specifically for the game, with original characters and everything.

Actually, it is pretty fitting that this game is an RPG, considering how South Park plots tend to start really mundane but end up getting pretty ridiculous by the end. Unfortunately you don't kill god in this one, but the final boss here is still pretty absurd.

Overall, I recommed this one to anyone who is fan of the show or just RPGs in general. It really is a good game on its own and you don't really need to know anything about the show in order to enjoy it.

South Park é um desenho incrível, ele vai muito além de ser só um desenho animado pra adultos que chama palavrão e violência. Ele faz sátiras, críticas e o mais importante, é feito com carinho. E com o jogo não poderia ser diferente né? então, não é.
Diferente dos jogos antigos de South Park, esse aborda o visual EXATAMENTE IGUAL AO DESENHO. Isso te faz sentir, que está jogando um episodio. A história te dá uma imersão tão grande, que você sente que os personagens realmente estão falando com você.
Os personagens, são os mesmos da serie, nenhuma alteração foi feita, em questão de personalidade e ações.
A cidade é aberta. deixando o jogador livre pra explorar cada canto da mesma. Muitos locais clássicos, podem ser adentrados, como a escola, o centro comunitário, e inclusive a casa dos personagens principais. ALÉM DISSO, por ela estão diversos personagens conhecidos e divertidos, que te dão missões secundárias, mas que são bem emocionantes, seja pra coletar ou buscar itens, a batalhas insanas. E se você é um fã de longa data, o jogo inteiro está recheado de referencias, que passarão desapercebidos caso não tenha assistido um certo numero de episódios.
A jogabilidade é outro ponto positivo, o RPG caiu muito bem nesse jogo, e casa bem com a temática de South Park.
A trilha sonora? meu amiiiiiigo, nem se fala. impecável.

I love south park, I think its one of the best comedy shows and this game is a perfect adaptation. It feels as if your just playing as a character in a south park episode. The characters all act exactly like they do in the show and the game is full of memorable cameos. The gameplay isn't the strongest but I still enjoyed most battles and I like how you battle with an ally. Overall this game is just a solid fun game and the sequel has been on my backlog for ages. 8/10

For a South Park game, it is great. Considering its adaptation history in video games, no one expected this game to be anything. It is a South Park RPG. Solid attempt. Light hearted and fun. This format would be later improved in the sequel.

The achievements were annoying with many chances to miss needed collectibles. I also experienced an annoying glitch that affected my collectible progress. Achieve at your own risk.
