I have to be one of the only few people in the world that has played this game to death. As a result I have a Guinness World Record for fastest completion of this game.

Here’s the thing: I’ve seen this game appear in a lot of people’s ‘Worst Star Wars Games of All Time’ lists. Yes, this game is incredibly flawed; the voice acting is awful, the graphics are very basic, the controls can be hit or miss most of the time especially the camera and there’s no sense of progression. Not to mention the game has two separate plots going on, one of which it puzzlingly abandons half way through the game.

Having said all that, I really enjoy this game. For the most part, there are no game breaking bugs or glitches. The controls all work for their intended purpose, there’s a lot of combat moves not a lot of people know about and as someone who used to speedrun this game, I find the levels somewhat fun to explore and mess around in.

Personally, I’ve always found the combat somewhat satisfying. It’s not groundbreaking or revolutionary, it’s certainly no Jedi Academy when it comes to lightsaber combat, but it gets the job done. I actually think this is one of the few Star Wars games that has implemented blaster deflection really well.

For me it’s underrated and certainly not worthy of being in any top 10 worst Star Wars games lists.

Pretty mediocre, but has one killer feature - you can run around in third person and kill stuff with a lightsaber. That surprisingly is enough to carry this game, it really is fun swinging your sword wildly through waves and waves of Battledroids, Tusken Raiders, and other enemies from the Star Wars universe. It's also really satisfying to use the force to ricochet laser bolts back at whoever is shooting at you, jump really high, force push objects into enemies and even disarm them by pulling their guns from their hands. The final battle is a pretty decent recreation of the Duel of Fates too, complete with the iconic music and Darth Maul. In the end, it was a nice lead up to the TV series that can't get here fast enough.

This could have been a game, but its just a hallway simulator half the time, and a the other half is naboo. Game is brain dead easy so thats cool.

Its also really funny they don't mention anakin at all, then the last cutscene just has this short little freakazoid in the corner and you are like "what the fuck is that."

Obi Wan combat system walked so Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy could run.

Has aged like milk under the sun and I feel like environments and mobility are too demanding considering the limited and clunky controls. It's fun to relentlessly murder friendly NPCs though.

Fun. Action. Lightsaber with a unique way of swinging around! Just repetitive Om every stage after stage.

This is like the Jedi Outcast games but bad.

The 20-man lightsaber fight you unlock after beating the game is fucking incredible. It is a mess and worth playing multiple times to laugh your ass off at the chaos.

I wanted this game to be so good but it controls so poorly and just wasn't fun.

janky fun i solely played this from the look of the cover and had a Painful but Fun™ time

Wasn't most of this game just running around as Obi-Wan beating the shit out of drug dealers?
