I tried Stardew Valley back in 2017, did not get through spring. Decided it was not for me. My wife got really into it shortly after that and put about 80 hours into it. So I found out there's split screen co-op and years later we decided to give it a try together. I don't see an end in sight now.
Now I've played through my first year, and while I see many more in game years and hours to come, I can say after around 35 hours that this is an incredible game and sits comfortably in the top 25 of all time.
I think it was the co-op aspect that made me love the game. You can break up daily tasks and switch between "chores" to keep things fresh and money rolling in. While the mining is simple, I got really into it. I love that you create your own goals and how layered all the systems are. Not to mention I've listened to this mesmerizing OST countless times since picking it back up.
The only unfortunate part is now actually anticipating Haunted Chocolatier. Godspeed ConcernedApe, a true legend.

Happy farm de pc e mais bem feito. O que esse jogo consumiu minha vida quando eu comecei a jogar é brincadeira. Eu só não dou nota maior pq >>EU<< sou muito tryhard, e, ser tryhard nesse jogo tira muito da diversão dele.
THE farming game. i'll sing for stardew valley like a songbird, that's how much i love it. the modding community is amazing and means that even when the game stops updating, there will always be things to do. speaking of updates, i've never seen a developer put such love and care into their creation before. he's such an inspiration to me and certainly others from this masterpiece.

Very strong source of pure dopamine. Almost unplayable without mods; the game really loves to waste your time.
Firstly, I wanna say that I've only played SV vanilla, but you can fix or expand your experience with many mods. So , it's been so many years since i started to play this game, but stardew is always coming back to my life. What a chill and incredible experience. Thanks ConcernedApe for the multiple updates, for this beautiful soundtrack, for these characters and this city. This game has a special place in my heart forever.
I rarely review games that I had played in the past, but after dumping over 80 hours after the 1.6 update, it feels unfair not to dedicate a few lines to describe how much of a wonder this game actually is. It inspires me in so many ways, relaxes me so much. Even after I get tired of playing it, I miss it.

Great game for those looking into this genre, gets boring after more than one play through but has tons of mods to change that.
This is a great little game to spend time in and relax. A cozy experience that will always be there for you no matter what. Highly recommend.

Stardew Valley is nice and all but I seem to only be able to play it in like 5 hour sessions where I don't eat or drink at all and forget who I am in real life

The game perfectly combines fun farming mechanics with mining, foraging, crafting and combat. All of the villagers are fun and it gives the game character. Amazing comfort game.

Stardew Valley is a cozy and long game with multiples ways and paths to follow, theres a lot of things to do and it keeps expanding and updating, it can be very chill yet very challenging sometimes, i played over 4 times already and I still keep playing it, the comunnity have lots of good mods to keep up with the game and it's very worthy to buy it.
