Like the first game, it isn't perfect, but it's great fun for a dollar and I like the greater emphasis on speed

A very fun game, I haven’t beat it yet and I don’t think I want to just cause I feel like the rage would sour my experience BUT that doesn’t take away from how awesome of a game this is; the soundtrack, the second-life visuals, and who could forget about the fact that the main character is TOREE.

Overall a very nice game to relax and play. Might go back and beat the boss but idk.

God bless the talented musicians who decided to use their talent for Toree 2, you are amazing

same dev as super kiwi 64, this one is just a straightforward platformer game. can't wait to see what the dev does next, both this and super kiwi are just pure videogame fun

hayatımın karanlık günleri böylece sona eriyor

THEY GOT RID OF THE SHITTY CAR LEVELS WE WON

Pretty much the first game with better level design and music. Can't go wrong for a short and sweet 3D platformer.

the game itself is a marginal improvement over the first game. the level themes and design are better with the same structure. where the improvements really lie are with the little things. the load times are a bit better, some inconveniences from the first game are fixed, it’s the little details that make the whole experience a bit more breathless

Sequel to the super brief level-based 3D platformer with rapid-fire levels and polished controls. It’s dirt cheap again!

Toree 2 is the follow up to Toree 3D, a 3D platformer with only a handful of stages that had a strong emphasis on speedrunning stages. Toree 2 feels like an expansion on the first game, offering even more stages to explore and speed through, as well as secrets to find and hidden surprises.

I played this on PC via itch.io, which did not like the idea of me using a controller for some reason. No matter how I tried to configure it, it just wouldn't work. I wound up settling for using keyboard and mouse controls. While they weren't ideal for this kind of game, they got the job done and I still had a fun time regardless.

Toree 2 feels good to control, and while you can beat it in under an hour, you'll definitely want to go back to improve your times and find secrets to unlock other characters. Plus, this game is super cheap. It's 1 dollar on itch.io and Steam and is honestly worth more than that.

If you're looking for a short inexpensive platformer that plays great and gives you plenty of goals to achieve, look no further than Toree 2!

this game is better than *flips through list of popular games alien isolation

More from the previous game, still great value for 1 dollar.

fun little platformer with a cool final boss, nothing crazy though

"It's no wonder that the developers have quickly built onto the formula with sequels."
Oh, wait... this is basically the same game but with slightly more interesting levels and a proper ending...
Maybe Toree Saturn will be the installment that's actually good.

T-O-R-E-E, THATS THE BIRD WE LIKE TO SEE

An extremely fun and short 3D platformer with a shockingly great soundtrack. Not much different to say about this game from the 1st one, its just more Toree and thats great.

Rather disappointing that it doesn't add or improve anything from the original whatsoever beyond just being different levels but still a fun time that lasts about an hour

Great feeling game and great levels. Really looking forward to playing the dev's other stuff.

It's more Toree! It's got better levels and less Haunted PS1 stuff. Glad to see the dev gaining confidence in their ability to make oldschool 3D games that stand on their own merits.

One of the best 3D platformers. v2

toree 3d but worse bit with a nice final boss

Just like Toree 3D this was a bite size speed running focused 3D platformer, the added mechanics being speed gates and even a boss fight at the end. I would really love to see a full game from this team because they have all been quite good for $1 and under games, lots of potential

The first one is better because I'm a bat and can jump anywhere, and like you have infinite jumps so you can just like jump off into the void and beat levels. Toree 2 is... not as good as the first game.

...did I rate the first game?

Interesting follow-up to the first game with tighter stages, some better music, and a better ending. The last boss was a bit unexpected, doubly so after how Toree 3D just suddenly ended. I probably spent more time beating it than all the stages combined. Still a lot to do here for $1 between the unlockable characters and bonus levels. Both games are recommended at this price point.

I was having way more fun with the platforming segments than in the first game, but I hated the boss fight. So I guess it’s a mixed bag. I still recommend it for the price, though.
