I'm impressed with how much they still managed to improve on over 3. The gameplay is even better and the story is still fantastic. The ending is very heartwarming and really stuck with me. My favorite in the franchise.

Had not played Uncharted 1-3. Despite this, the story was cohesive and stood alone well. Graphics are some of the best I’ve seen to date. Gameplay and set pieces are staged and linear, but the loop of climbing and shooting is very enjoyable, like watching an action movie.

One of the best games ever. Masterpiece ending, top tier direction (Neil Druckman peak) and insane chara development.

This is one of my favourite games of all time, The uncharted series got me into video games and made me love games and this game closed on the franchise beautifuly, this game is an epic

Timeless and beautiful graphics & gameplay. My favorite part was chapter 12 "At Sea" I loved being able to drive the boat around and search for new areas to explore and find trinkets. The puzzles are hard but fun! This game is never not a recommendation. The environments are big and beautiful. El Dorado, once you find it anyway, doesn't disappoint. Most of the game impressed me and hardly disappoints all around. Combat can be frustrating and feel heavy sometimes but I played this a couple years since then and my gaming ability has gotten better, so don't take my word for that. Definitely justice for how they did Nathan in that Uncharted movie though, bro deserved better lol.

Only played the multiplayer, Very good

A good closure for the saga, very polished gameplay.

This is the culmination of Nathan Drake’s story. With grand set pieces, third-person cover shooting, intricate puzzles, and a masterful story (with pirates!), this game has a little bit of everything.

Every time I’ve played Uncharted 4 – this is my fourth – I’ve become equally obsessed with the story, perhaps not as obsessed as Nathan, but still. As you start off on a seemingly simple journey to find some lost pirate treasure a story of obsession, betrayal and companionship comes to the forefront. with real consequences for these characters, this game has a more nuanced and serious tone that better fits the actions you perform as Nathan Drake. The final two thirds of this game feels like non-stop moments of interesting discovery as you begin to piece together what happened to Henry Avery and his treasure. These world-building moments are intertwined with rising suspense for the present day story, and the antagonists are more grounded but no less ruthless and slimy. I hesitate to talk too much about the more pirate-y aspects of this game because there are some awesome revelations and I think the less you know going in, the better. If you have any interest at all in pirates, the world-building and story of this game will have you grinning the whole way through.

Combat takes center stage for much of this game as the third person shooting is one of the pillars of the Uncharted series. The shooting feels great with the dual sense controller and there are a wide variety of guns to test out against the constant onslaught of mercenaries. The combat arenas are wider and more intricate than in the past and stealth gameplay is often an option. The new rope mechanic provides you some pace to adjust your positioning or take enemies by surprise. My lone complaint is my wish for a ranged stealth weapon like a bow or silenced pistol.

The biggest and most welcome change in Uncharted 4 has to be the inclusion of some semi-open sections throughout the campaign. Exploring every nook of these areas provides great world-building, and character moments with breathtaking scenery and there are even some fully optional combat encounters. These sections made me feel like I was truly hunting for treasure, something that’s hard to match in the more linear moments of the series.

Traversal in this series has often been mocked as you have to climb a lot. I’ve never hated the climbing, but it’s hardly the best part of these games. Uncharted 4 has plenty of this climbing but I found the mechanics to be sharp and your pace to be fast enough that it continued to entertain me throughout. There are also some much needed new traversal options thanks to the rope and a new sliding/scree mechanic. These new moves are featured a lot and may not be more or less fun than climbing, but at least it’s something different.

Uncharted 4 is on a relatively short list for my favorite game of all time. It’s hard to construct a game that is more up my alley and that’s before you even account for this being the finale of a series that basically got me into non-sports video games back when I was a teenager. The PS5 remaster makes this feel like a brand new game, and the perfect blend of action, story and exploration makes this the best the series has ever been.

Great ending to a fantastic franchise

This game really had an effect on me and changed how I saw the uncharted series. This was my first introduction to these games and what a fucking introduction it was. I had never experienced a "movie-type" game that was actually compelling, and though the story itself isn't anything revolutionary, the characters are so strong that you're just happy to watch them interact and explore. I really do love this game, and it still looks amazing nearly ten years later. After playing this game, I decided to play the other uncharted games and found out that this is the only game in the series with a somewhat mature story so that was definitely a disappointment but they're all fun nonetheless.

I know this game may be a little cliché, but it has a huge emotional charge for me. The best ending for a true masterpiece saga.

I got this game on one of my birthdays. At the time I wasn't much into gaming. I was mostly playing some Zelda or Mario on Nintendo Switch. Fortunately, this game along with other masterpieces like God of War and GTAV revived my passion for video games.

My favorite part of Uncharted 4 is the climbing section. I don't know why but it always felt so great. If you haven’t play the sequel Uncharted Lost Legacy I would recommend it. It's the same quality but shorter.

That movie tho lol

great triple A smoke, the multiplayer secretly GOATed

It feels like The Last of Us with Uncharted characters in it. The story is boring and dull and the multiplayer is meh.

This is just so mega, (I'll let you determine what that means)

Uncharted at it's finest. Didn't think we would get another one after 3 but this was a perfect conclusion to Nathan Drakes journey. Cinematically gorgeous and funny af. Troy Baker with Nolan North never fails.

Phenomenal game. voice acting and character interaction are the best in gaming. Drake is interesting, flawed and as witty as always. The story was great and was set with solid pacing. I loved the pirate stuff and it allowed for some amazing environment. loved all the pirate notes left behind and the journal drawings. Traversal grew tiresome as usual. But some of the sliding/rope moments were actually fun and enjoyable. the shooting was fun and the new emphasis on stealth was a nice change of pace.
