The game is amazing for the first 5 or 6 hours!
The characters are well written, the missions are fun, the gameplay and foundation are solid. But the game never ends.
The story just keeps going and going and going and going and going and going like WHAT.

And worst of all, some features of the game must be unlocked though the campaign. But it's still pretty fun.

I can't even begin to think about how much time I wasted on this game just goofing off with cheats on
Game of my childhood.
Just like a lot of people, I played the crap out of this, not for the story, but just to mess around with mods and all. There's still fun to be had if your hardware isn't very powerful and you want to play a great game, and both SA:MP and MTA are still going strong even today so the game is surely not dead.
This is a Certified Hood Classic.

despite dumping in tons of hours, i've never actually beaten this game because i always get carried away dicking with the open world and flying car cheats. very ambitious, revolutionary, and a hell of a lot more soulful than what's come after it
Besides knowing the spoilers of it, CJ sure is a badass guy.
