If you're looking for a game that uses every possible feature of the DS to the fullest, here you go. You move Link with a stylus on the touch screen. You can't move him any other way. If that sounds awful to you well... yeah it kinda is. The player's hand ends up in the way of the screen that you need to see like, a lot. Dungeons are so straightforward that they become the game's Achilles Heel.
A very scaled back version of Wind Waker that works well for what it is. The controls can be hit or miss, but they generally do their job well. The sense of adventure is still there and the wonderful art-style has been adapted pretty well. If nothing else, what keeps this from being a truly great game is how repetitive its structure is.
A very good, different, and underrated Zelda game. Gameplay centers largely around the touch screen, and that's not a bad thing. Drawing paths for your boomerang and bombchus is pretty cool, for example. Boss fights are creative and fun. The game's central dungeon was a nice challenge. My biggest complain is that there's not as much to explore as in other Zelda games.
A lot of great stuff in this, particularly using the stylus to sketch on the map and discover treasures (I'd love to see this return) and the cleverly designed central temple which you return to tackle more efficiently each time thanks to your growth in health, inventory, knowledge and skill. One of my favourite games in the series.
