Still holds up well enough, even though it's lost some of its impact overtime. Definitely not as strong as Modern Warfare 2 or as nostalgic for me, and god that aim punch can fuck right off, but it's hard to deny this game's impact. One Shot, One Kill is still some of the best CoD gameplay, and while the sparse story isn't particularly gripping it gets the job done. Really this game is a victim of being the innovator of the FPS genre, and almost everything it has done has now been done better by its successors. Still a worthwhile revisit every so often, even if just to play through Crew Expendable and All Ghillied Up.

the peak of the series in every way. except multiplayer. that was next

One of the best campaigns and one of my favorite multiplayers for COD.
