The friend who made me read this mess of a VN will never be forgiven. Atrocious prose, hours of painful Slice of Life until anything interesting happens and the game just goes "ah, yeah, but that was actually terrible and boring on purpose!"
When the story actually started to go places, I was long disconnected from anything happening on my screen and it was simply impossible for me to care too much about any of it. As much as I like some individual concepts and ideas that are brought up in the later portions, it SO fucking wasn't worth it.
I think my favorite part is how often MYTH just gives up on audio in its entirety. No music, no SFX for multiple scenes in a row. I kept checking whether my headphones were unplugged, but no: it's just MYTHing all over the place.
An experience for those without standards, who are just craving some insanity in their VNs that not enough actually good titles manage to offer.

this is a mess of a story and a frankly grueling experience, but somehow i can't help but love it. it's got soul. on a literal level i do not understand it, and i probably never will. but taking the story as a whole, its intent, its emotions and its ideas shine through, and they stuck with me personally. there's something good there if you give it a chance. very worthwhile if you're ready to think and willing to push all the way through
