A new indie masterpiece from late 2021 featuring card games... and singleplayer.

From the creator of Pony Island and The Hex comes a story where you are trapped inside the cabin of a mysterious man who is playing a card game where you play animals and fight them in a rumble. But this is only just the beginning... of the tip of the iceberg! You must get out of the cabin. But how?

You must get through 3 stages and reach the final goal without losing two lives. The card game in question plays out simple. Your hand is used to place cards in four of your board slots, with each card having its own respective effect depicted as a symbol for easier identification. As you across the map you will encounter various events such as adding an attack or health point on one of your cards, mutate two cards in one, and so on. The graphic style of this game is full of tension, as well, and the card illustrations are mere pixel goodness, being one of the best curated parts of the game.

As you proceed in the game and escape the cabin... well, it's not going to end like that...
...because you actually are a passionate card gamer who has a YouTube carrier and is investigating a game known as "Inscryption", built from the depths of GameFuna.
The game has three acts. The second act is the DOS-esque PC game Inscryption in its fullest form, where you get to meet all the four Scrybes as you garther around a lots of cards that define each island. Lastly, the third act is when P-03 takes over and, like how Leshy rewrote Inscryption with its own game, you get to play with him inside his laboratory.

And i guess i don't have to go further with the story here. The game has been a very fun experience tough, with Act 2 being my gameplay-wise favourite while Act 1 is memorable.
Well, if you have come reading this review without playing it, well, i'm a bit disappointed. Play it now and you will not regret it.
