When I started playing this game in 2018 I probably was a quite different person. Probably I'm worse now but I managed to give this game a 4th opportunity and finally it clicked for me. It has a lot of lovely PS2 vibes with astonishing graphics, I liked the cinematics, I liked the city, I liked the characters (so cool they used so many real face actors) and found a surprisingly moving plot.

I didn't like some dumb missions, there are a few that obliges you to find items in random stores (some secondary quests are funny tho). At first I hated the combat system but I put the game difficulty on easy and that helped to get through it without frustration. I never play on easy but this game's combat isn't enough good to demand so much concentration on normal mode.

Besides being boring the PC version is extra buggy. W10, 1080Ti, i9-9900K

The fucking MIDI OST is torturous and is a PS2 in complexity and innovation
