Was initially worried picking this one up as I have low attention spans when there's a ton of dialogue and often zone out when reading, even from stories I'm enjoying. Not to the fault of visual novels whatsoever, I honestly wish I could get into them more. Seeing as I finished this behemoth of a story really says the rest. Very rarely got distracted reading but the superb visuals and sound design helped my mind from wandering as it often does. I also do count this as a singular game instead of two, and it honestly works way better for reasons I don't want to spoil. Immensely charming characters and some pretty insane mysteries to solve that really exceeded my expectations. Only thing that holds it back for me is that I do feel that there are times where information you already know gets repeated a fair too often. A reminder every so often is handy but there were points where I wanted to speed through some dialogue going "yes, yes I get it". But the soundtrack is immaculate, so I guess that meant listening to it more at least.
