It's mid. First levels feel fresh but after a while the cute miniature look of the game, the catchy main theme etc. wear off. There's not a lot to this game. A lot of the enemies feel very weird in a Mario game like the girls. And the bosses especially the final one can be stupid hard. AND if you lose all your lives you are sent right into the begging of the game. I was at least in half of it but lost lives and had to play everything all over again which didn't make it a pleasant experience. Overall though it's mediocre but almost okay

It's Super Mario Bros. but nEw What did I expect... This game is fine. Everything is fine. It looks fine. It plays fine. Some of the levels are oddly original and fun but mostly I felt like I was playing "another" Mario game. I love a good 2D Mario game and while this was fine, it was a bit bland. The music is pretty generic. The main theme is fine but it isn't even close to the previous Mario tunes. The Mega Mushroom is semi-cool but mostly for a few levels since you can't use it that much. The coin mechanic is cool, I liked how you can unlock different power-up houses and routes with the hidden coins but that's about it. I didn't have a bad time with the game, in fact, sometimes it could get a little addictive, but overall it's pretty short and unmemorable even if it can be fun to play, I expect better from the Italian plumber
