This line and that entire fight is what consolidated this as my favorite thing ever. Before this, I was really hooked up into everything bloodborne had to offer: a connected world, amazing atmosphere, absolute style and the coolest weapons ever.

Learning the patterns of a boss, while listening to the best soundtrack in soulsborne history, in a mix of duel and waltz with my enemy made me feel.... alive. All that while wielding weapons that really felt unique. I remember giggling with joy and power when I got Kirkhammer for the first time.

This game is a masterpiece and I love every second of it.
