It definitely could use some polishing and not all (of the many) ideas it throws at you land.... But boy did I have fun with the 23+ hours I put into this game.

The gameplay loop is just fun and it leaves you yearning to get that extra collectable, do that one more challenge and see that next character interaction.

It was honestly my favorite 3D Sonic game and just a bit behing 3&K for my favorite Sonic of all time.

Hopefully Sonic Team can work with this template and focus on polishing their next release, as I imagine a lot of the development time for this went into prototyping and testing the loop to make it fun.

If you're on the fence due to reviews... Critics never liked Sonic, so just play it for us yourself... I promise it'll be worth it.
