A charming game, but missing something impossible to describe. Unlike 64, Sunshine or Galaxy, I don't care about collecting the moons. They're too unrewarding and inconsistent, as with Star Coins in the 2D games.
Levels are far less memorable than past Mario games. The food kingdom was neat, as was New Donk City. The rest I've already forgotten most details of. Cappy is a cool gimmick, but sadly I didn't love Odyssey, I just liked it as it's still above 90% of games out there.
