Wish they still made games like this without turning them into phone game money farms.

Fun game for a while. Decently difficult and cool progression. Just not fun enough for me to want to finish a full playthrough.

Pretty fun! Adds lots of new content, but isn't really groundbreaking.

My first Civ game, loved it as a kid. Not the most technically amazing game, and games can be very same-y, but I had a ton of fun with it.

Wasn't as fun as 3 for me and 5 came out fairly soon after I bought it.

Totally understand what makes this game so special, but just not for me.

Fun game, with almost too much to do! Imo it offers a lot more than Stardew Valley: the relationships are much more fun and interesting, the skills are cool and actually feel powerful, and there's a lot more variety in the daily gameplay loop.

Fun, unique game. Feels like a DnD campaign, but as you play more you realize that none of the choices matter all that much.

I like that there's two layers of strategy, but the game just isn't that fun after a while. Biggest issue is that there's too much reading irrelevant story.

I had to go back to it like 5 times, but eventually I finished! 170 hours spread over 3.5 years. This game has such incredible unique style and amazing music. A little too long and JRPG-y for my tastes, but still amazing overall.

Base game ending was amazing, but the extra palace from Royal was really bad. Overall, if they cut out like 1 palace from the base game and the extra palace from Royal, this game would probably be 5 stars.

Really fun unique game. Starts simple and easy since you can pause any time, but quickly gets complex. The game kept me fully occupied for a couple of days! Short and sweet, and very reasonably priced.

Requires a couple of mods to make it enjoyable at a larger scale though: one that makes cards snap to a grid and one that lets you search for uses of a given card.

Semi-fun but unfortunately a bug-filled motion sickness factory.

Fun, funny and free! Nice little steam deck demo.

Quite fun for a while and some nice features that are different from minecraft. The core mechanics are just lesser minecraft though, and 2D side scrolling is never all that fun.

Fun silly game. Played so many times through as a kid.

Didn't quite suck me in as much as BOTW. Maybe I'm just spoiled. After ~100 hours I got a little bored and decided to shelve it for a while. Still, "not as fun as BOTW" means pretty much nothing. Both games are special.
