as both indonesian & horror fan, i highly appreciate both the atmosphere for the game & the reference for the shining (1980) when yandi axed down the door for the scientist's building

adventure games don't get better than this

all monkey island games get bonus points from me because of the wonderful memories i have from playing them with my boyfriend, but this one takes the cake as one of my favorite games of all time.

I like ostriches and wireframes

Best X outing. Between the bombastic opening, the baller weapons, the fucking SHORYUKEN, and imo the best Sigma stages it's the real deal.

A massive improvement over the first game in every way. It takes a ding because those last two puzzles were annoying but I enjoyed the rest of the game quite a bit.

This was a tremendous improvement over the first game.

I would put this on par with some LucasArts. Zanthia is a great character.

It is geared towards the seasoned adventure game fan though. Some puzzles are quite challenging.

For the French I wrote a review - https://lacritiquedumoment.wordpress.com/2023/02/23/the-legend-of-kyrandia/#kyrandia22023

This game has to be my favorite game that I never beat. And I’m not ranking it 5 stars out of pure nostalgia. I love this game! It was one of my 1st RPGs. I love the soundtrack, gameplay and all of the main characters. I don’t get why this game gets so much hate, but I love it. I will beat it one day! Hoping it’ll be on Nintendo Switch Online soon…

Jogar com uma mosca ou abelha?!
Sim, queremos.

Jogo muito bacana que marcou minha vida na época do Nintendo 64.
Zerei com a força do ódio, já que a gameplay era uma dificuldade danada.

Beaten it like 25 times in my life. As soon as the credits roll I want to start playing again.
The graphics and the soundtrack are amazing for the time it came out. Robin Beanland made a terrific job with the OST of this game. And the atmosphere of each planet, of each location, is phenomenal.
One of my favorite games of all time.
Controls may be weird at the beginning but dual stick controllers were just being born at the time. The devs had to adapt and experiment.
