I love it when silverback gorillas ass rape me, especially when they punch the back of my head in (one punch is all it takes) and knock me out causing my arms to straighten out and my body to convulse as my body seizes up and I froth from the mouth due to sheer shock whilst the 500 pound gorilla continues to violently clap my ass cheeks and tear up my internals with his enormous monkey c*ck

Probably the best action horror game I've played. My favourite of all the Resident Evil games so far, somehow even better than the original RE4.
Charming and does what it does pretty well, but it just feels boring and bland overall. The soundtrack especially sucked, can't see myself sinking 60+hours worth of content and hearing the same overworld and battle music. Music is an important factor for games, especially JRPG's since it's a very long genre and you'll probably be casually playing it for a couple of months, then to hear the same jarring music all throughout that time is a huge turn off.
I get what they went for, it's "the JRPG", it's supposed to have a very vanilla and well known formula and to be fair to them they've stuck with it, but I think after playing several JRPG's in my life I want something with a bit more depth, and there's no depth to this game. Nothing stands out, not combat, story, music, or characters. I think the best way of putting it is that everything (apart from the music) is put together in a very inoffensive way which can be appreciated, but as a result of that there's nothing that really makes this game special.
Sometimes when a game is lacking in gameplay, the story is enough to carry the game for me, unfortunately the story in this is very fairy-tale whimsical which isn't my cup of tea, you can pretty much predict the things that happen before they happen which makes it feel a bit dull with very little to no surprises. A lot of people have described the story as a perfect bedtime story, that's very accurate, some people will love that, some won't.
Objectively it seems like a well made game that's stuck to the JRPG formula, but it just didn't stick with me and felt one dimensional all around. I stopped playing a while after Gallopolis.
