Can't wait to forget this in a couple of years and try it again only to say "Oh that's why I forgot about it."

More like Quarter’s Quaint Chicanery.

Hey, I didn't know Shantae had a Phillips CD-I game as well!

Pretty damn good, and a fun rouge-like for Splatoon. It's a bit light, and I do have other rouge-likes I still need to finish before grinding for this 100% completion. but still an enjoyable time.

Oh, it's a game that will cost money later on down the line and is more focused on forcing us to spend money for battle passes and what not. No thanks.

Nintendo beaming us in the side of the face with yet another curve ball that only makes sense to them in their books. It's fun, bordering on an 8/10, but that removed score gimmick of the first game does make the levels lose a bit of something. The Time Attacks do their best to cover, even if it isn't the same. Not worth the $50, and if I didn't get a $35 gift card from my mom for Valentine's Day, definitely would have just skipped it. Wait for a sale if you can hold on till the heat death of the universe.

Good god they're sincerely trying here. Pretty much everything has been improved since the first game, and the story mode is pretty in-depth and engaging for multiple playthroughs. It's not as polished as Smash, but it's able to at least be considered an intriguing contender to watch out for.

It has the Spider-Man 2's High Silk Hat theme song, so it's good.

I'm dreadfully sorry about Season 9.

To give some background, I dropped this game after Chapter 4 due to just not vibing with it and a big backlog forming, but I left it with a 7/10. Now, I just fought and beat Korsica, and...my opinion has unfortunately worsened a bit.

I SHOULD love this game more than I do. It's bright, proud of itself, and has a fun and unique identity. However, I really can't in good conscience say I liked it as much as everyone else. The gameplay is just there for me, and the longer I went on, the more I found myself not liking the writing, and finding more there than funny. And god, Chai is actually more annoying and irritating than I last tried this game last year, and the fact I'm apparently the only one who hates Chai is just super confusing to me, especially since dumb MCs like Luffy are my jam. But yeah, with 6+ hours clocked in and still a good half of the game left, I'm hanging it up here. There's definitely something here, but it's definitely something not for me.

This game is to me what nuanced takes are to Twitter; we both don't get it.

I can't really stay mad at it. It's a very low 7/10, but it's a charming 7/10. It's not as funny as it thinks it is, but it has a lot of heart.

I'll confess that I was able to get into the game for a good bit, especially with the dungeon, and I feel like it's the most beginner-friendly game of the Persona series. That said, it still felt a bit bare-bones to me, and I feel like 60+ hours of this would drive me to boredom. I may be dipping back into the game later on, but for now, it was pretty decent. Nothing that impressive to me, and it won't make me go out to check the other Persona games out again, but still, it's a nice time.

Junepi is still the best boy.

Oh, it's a metaphor for feeling isolated and fearing that no one understands you. They added personal grief and trauma to my wholesome Disney-branded Stardew Valley game.

...Is it wrong to say that I think I prefer this over the original Celeste?
