Hi! I'm some goofball from the internet! Please don't take my opinions on here too seriously; I'm just makin' it up as I go!

Star ratings aren't too important, ok? Just because I rate one game higher than another does not mean I find the lower-rated game less valid/valuable as a work of art, as long as they both have positive ratings (above 2.5 stars)
Also sometimes I give a game 5 stars just because I like it and think it deserves way more positive attention than it gets.
Honestly I feel like it's totally ridiculous and in some ways harmful to assign numbered ratings to works of art and yet here I am doing it anyway. As I said, please do not take these ratings too seriously. All reviews are 100% earnest and honest tho

Very well written and charming, but also lacking in the combat mechanics department. I'm more than fine with games that are more book-like, but I was sort of expecting something more mechanically satisfying to sink my teeth into.

Went into this with extremely low expectations. It's a little over-the-top and blunt with its philosophizing, but I still really liked the final ending I got the first time around. I'll probably play it again sometime.

Honestly, I'm just incredibly happy this game exists. A well-polished vision of what Jet Set Radio can be. JSR was the first video game I really loved, but while this is definitely a nostalgia trip for me, it also stands up on its own merits. There's surprising depth to be found in the tricks system, modding in your own graffiti is fun and easy, and the music absolutely bumps.
Also, I'm pretty sure the ost samples Black Panthers (or at least black activists of some stripe, I am not an expert and have no citations to offer you) in at least 2 songs so that's pretty rad.
