I used to be a massive trophy whore when I first got my PS4 at the very end of 2015. It has slowly died away over time as evident by the time gaps between plats later on (well, that and I started playing on more consoles)

My first ever R&C game. I enjoyed it a lot at the time; Wondering if I'd still enjoy it now that I've played more of the series. I know a lot of peoples complaints come from how the game ruined Ratchet's character or something.

This was actually the first PS4 game I ever played, so the fact the plat was all the way down here lol. What a damn grind, particularly the online ones. I would NEVER attempt this today. I only did it at the time because 95% of my plat grind came from when it was my only "big" PS4 game.

For once I gotta say going for the plat greatly improved my experience. I really enjoyed the hardest mode playthrough.

This one felt a lot more repetitive than II (I remember having to do some stuff like Disney Town a lot), and iirc I had to fight pain in the ass secret boss with all 3 characters. Still a fun game, probably the most underrated of the KH games.

Had a lot of fun with the game. I do remember one trophy being that you had to choose a specific customisation option or something though, which kinda sucks as far as trophy design goes.

Most of the trophies were just "finish all the icons on the map", which is a thing I would have done anyway for a game as enjoyable as this.

By this point I was doing blind first playthroughs and making trophy collecting an optional thing in later playthroughs if I wanted to after the first. That fucked me over when I had to do an entire extra playthrough because I made like one wrong choice in my first one lol.

Pretty much the exact same experience as the original Last of Us plat, except now with no multiplayer. Which is kinda a shame, cos I liked the multiplayer in the original.

Okay I know I said I was becoming less of a plat whore, but sometimes that desire to 100% games just gets me, even when it's a game that I'm not super in love with, or that gets repetitive to plat.

A bit more tedious than other Ratchet and Clank games since even after completing challenge mode I still had to grind to get all weapons to level 6, and unlock the final armour. Also one of the few plats where I didn't 100% the game, since the skill points were way too much of a pain in the ass to do.

And this unseats Astro's Playroom as my most common trophy, at a massive 67.50% earned on PSNProfiles. I'm a little surprised, it IS an extremely easy plat, but I don't know if I'd call it the easiest on my entire list.

The plat is a good way to see way more of the games secrets and how certain actions affect the day than just beating the main game will. I also enjoyed the challenge of killing all visionaries without killing any regular enemies.

Technically you only need to do about 50% of the actual games completion to get the plat, but I did it all anyway because checklist games just hit that completionist trigger in me.

When I only had 50 quickplay matches left, it was a bit of a grind. Otherwise pretty fast and easy. I was already bored of the game by the time I got this though, and if I wasn't so inclined to see shiny things pop I wouldn't have bothered playing it more than 1 day.

Most trophies are things I would have done anyway. A couple that I did have to go out of my way to get were actually quite fun, like trying to do the quadruple backflip. The wingsuit missions were a pain in the ass grind though. And the co-op trophy was super fast, but so out of place when it's the only online one.

Relatively short and simple plat for an open world game. You don't even need to 100% the cyberspace levels to get the plat, though I did that anyway. The only annoying part was having to grind phantom rush's on Asura's leg because I killed anything else too quick lol

I played this after the "QoL" update so the collectibles weren't quite as bad thanks to the game telling me which areas in the levels I've already done.
On the other hand I ended up 100%'ing most levels before getting the collectible finding filter because I didn't know it was even a thing.

I wasn't going to plat this after I saw how many missables trophies existed, but once I spent days grinding out hundreds of missions, I decided that couldn't go to waste. So for the first time in years, I used a guide to make sure I didn't miss anything.
The worst part was the DMW trophy though. Holy shit just hours of waiting around hoping for that last scene you need to play.

When I transferred my PS4 save to the PS5 version so I could play the Yuffie DLC, all the trophies unlocked instantly. This feels like cheating.

A somewhat grindy platinum, but a very fair one that doesn't ask the player to touch the harder modes much. Which may or may not be a bad thing depending on how you view it.

Honestly not too bad for a JRPG. Like the story was fairly long, but once it was done there was only another day until I got the plat. Then again I do a lot of side stuff while going through the main story in games, so I guess it's less of a lack of extra content and more of a "the post-game specific stuff is fast" situation. Overall time was around 65 hours which seems...decent for the genre?
