A quite impressive achievement to release such a complete and well-made game on day one.

Fully featured, though the World Tour mode is a boring abomination of grinding and definitely a massive waste of everyone's time and money.

Now, for the real game, everything is there. There is an Arcade mode, some fun trials, and most of all a very functional online mode. The netcode is phenomenal, I am able to play with friends in Europe with little to no lag.

Minor gripe would be the UI, quite confusing and messy. But once you're used to it, it's manageable.

I really tried to enjoy this game, but wandering aimlessly not finding out what to do after a dozen hours or so is not my definition of fun. I opened a FAQ to try and move forward, found out I missed out on a ton of things, and ultimately gave up.

The story is bland and uninteresting compared to Trigger, the combat system is atrocious, the "levelling" not rewarding at all and frustrating, the characters underdeveloped, the big thing this game has for itself is the music, and that is definitely not enough to make me want to start over a whole playthrough at this time. Maybe some day.
