3D World - Incredibly inventive. Love the expansion of 3D Land's experiment on the 3DS. Love the small QoL updates like the faster speed (which can sometimes fight against the original design). Insanely dense and full package. However, genuinely 100% fuck that final bonus level.
Bowser's Fury - A wonderful experiment. I expected this to be a 2-3 hour experience, but this is a pretty full 8 hour game. I love the laid back feeling to this game combined with that uneasy feeling of whenever Bowser spawns to interrupt the relaxing vibes. Honestly, Mario feels best with this almost puzzle box-esque level design. Basically climbing a tower/mountain as stylistically as possible. Really gives the cat/tanooki suits a proper use beyond a safety net in the base game. More experiments like this pls. I had a very lovely time.
