I'm a nerdy cat girl who loves turn based RPGs and my boyfriend ♥️ Rosey♥️! I used to write list and guide articles for DualShockers.
My favorite series are Dragon Quest and Xeno! I'm a huge Square Enix and Nintendo fan who likes nearly all of their series such as NieR, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Zelda, Smash, Mario, and a whole lot more. I like most other RPGs too such as those made by Falcom and Atlas. I also enjoy multiplayer party games like Fortnite.
Some of my favorite things outside of video games are anime and animals I'm a huge fan of Shonen series like Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, JoJo, Dai, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter X Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, and way too many to list.

Out of the three recent remakes, this one is the most important. There was no 3DS rerelease like there was for 1 and 2. This means that this is the very first remake of 3, and it isn't missing any content from previous remakes as a result.

I think it's hard to create a game that is both charming yet covers serious topics simultaneously. If you mess up just slightly it'll feel either disrespectful or edgy. I feel like this game found a nice balance that allowed it to pull off what it meant to well.
Emotional status effects in battle resulted in some nice strategizing, although I do think some parts of the game drag on.
Overall I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. It's a great indie game that I personally think surpassed a few of the games it's based on.
