HOW DID THEY GET IT THIS GOOD ON THEIR FIRST TRY IN 3D HOW

Very Safe but polished Kirby game nothing much to say also hypernova fucking sucks

best final boss in the series though so it has that going for it

The worst Kirby game I've played. This game tries to be a Kirby game with non linear format like a Metroidvannia but like the game doesn't execute it well at all.

Navigating the world with your very scrambled map is very difficult cause there's no sense of progression or way to understand where you're heading cause your location just gets scattered everywhere. You basically NEED the map from a chest to actually understand where you're going which takes away from the exploration alot.

On that exploration in this game doesn't mean much when the rewards are frankly worthless. I like stuff like maps and health upgrades but I don't want junk like extra lives, food, spray paints, music disc(??); I want actual stuff that feels like I'm progressing. The fact that didn't do the milky way wishes of letting you keep abilities in a menu insanely baffling.

Also the one way door ways that lead you to dead ends doesn't help either. There's also places you need to go with a specific ability which makes exploration also not fun. The game is just a jumbled of ideas and I can see a good game here but its its not there which makes this entire experience just frustrating and boring too.

It does have Smash Kirby tho!

A very by the numbers Kirby game which is fine but nothing I would want to go back to

Kirby adventure but it runs better but i like the old backgrounds more so the nes is better

This is one of those Kirby games I want to absolutely love; this has some of the best vibes and atmospheres out of alot of DR era like games and just the Kirby series in general. Along with a very good soundtrack and the ability mixing is such a strong idea.

I think the stuff that keeps it down alot for me is how really sluggish Kirby feels compared to prior games and the framerate doesn't really help at all. The ability mixing is super cool but it makes backtracking a pain in a ass cause its alot of trial and error to actually get 100% for specific shards and the game doesn't do a good job cluing you in on what you're supposed to do. It also has DR problems where a specific ability you need to get it is NOT in the level so you have to go back to another level. Its not fun.

This game has so much going for it but its issues bother me too much to really put it as a favorite Kirby.

A real Kirby game since Superstar and its one of the best and polished Kirby games.

Its so nice for Kirby to have good movement and ability options again.

Honestly how is your second game this much of a slam dunk especially on the NES. The slowdown isn't the best at times but playing the game feels just really good especially for an NES game. Its still one of the best paced Kirby games

I got jumped by two oomfies and died after leaving a door so yeah this is one of the best Kirby games

Playing this game is like taking sleeping pill

you can beat this game in like 20 mins but its a nice 20 mins

being better than x7 and x6 isnt saving this game being hard mid

This game lost a point around the second half where it felt like they wanted to extend the game as much as possible and then the final dungeon is insanely tedious and not fun in the slightest to a point I can't call it a favorite despite how strong the first half was. I just wanted the game to end this is the worst end game dungeon i've played in a Tales game.
