Man, there is a staggering amount of content in these games

Wait, so you're telling me Call of Duty just based their entire business model on copying Battlefield?

What can I say about this that hasn't already been said. It's the same mechanics as 1942 and Vietnam, just perfected even more, and the modern setting fits perfectly to the gameplay. Pretty crazy that even 19 years later, the game is still easy to sink hours into playing it.

I mean it's pretty much exactly what the title promises it to be, not that that's a bad thing.

I spent over half the game with the number of bots at like 50% and let me just say this is an entirely different game when the map is full

Pretty good, but MW2019 and the original MW2 are still in a league above this.

Still a good game though.

You know, as advanced as mobile computing gets, to the point where this is the kind of stuff that they can run on it.....still doesn't get around the fact that the control on these phones is terrible.

Seriously, the amount of times I died because I thought I was tapping the fire button but had no physical indication of where that was....I understand they sell controllers for these games but like at that point why not just play the console or PC version instead

i don't know what to say about this other than this is a game that exists. there's really not much else to it

it's so weird that this one has cutscenes

these have become more and more of a cash grab with each one

well at the very least these things are getting quicker to get through, so I guess that's somewhat of a good thing about this game

boy these become more of just an advertisement for the main entry as the series goes on. At least this one is easy enough you can basically beat the whole game in an hour.

EDIT: This review stands for both the Java and Pocket PC port of this game

A strange, poorly made game that I'm genuinely confused why it exists. Who exactly was this for?

90% of this game is super easy and can be done in like an hour, but the last mission is suuuuper difficult for absolutely no good reason. For the time this was released this doesn't look good at all either, if this game was like 4 years older I'd be able to excuse some of it but no way.

It's so crazy to me that we can have emulators that make these old games actually playable, considering the original hardware couldn't even run this that well. Unfortunately, we still don't have emulators that make these games actually good.

Beyond the game breaking glitch in one level that made me have to use a cheat to load the next level, the most egregious part about this game is having to manually save your game instead of autosave. Adds another super annoying task to keep track of while you're playing.

Definitely the better of the two expansion packs. More maps, more new weapons, although it would have been fun to have a USA vs. Japan battle in there somewhere.

Also I don't think the Nazis had Jetpacks but hey what do I know.

Boy this one is a big jump from the first one. Better graphics, better controls, and a lot more career options to make this game last longer than the first one.

Very surprised they didn't get in trouble at all because they basically ripped off the design of one of the cars from the first Fast & Furious movie.

The new maps are cool, but I would have liked a couple more guns for the Italians.

For the time, impressive with what they were able to accomplish. There were some maps that were almost a little too big in my opinion, although to be fair I was playing with default settings so I'm sure you can crank up the number of CPUs to fill them out. Only thing I would have liked to see was a little more variety with the factions, however adding in the Africa campaign is a nice touch when most WWII games overlook it.
