The lesson is, you gotta live

Fuck self-sacrifice

Cannot for the life of me fathom how this is the least liked Layton game

Lloyd Bannings in Germany on November 9th, 1989 be like: "Looks like I have a job to do" (he's helping people to break a barrier)

Good job Inti Creates, let's get someone working on that Love Live RPG next (copium)

My mans was built a little too different

Why would Mine do that instead of just killing the guy? Is he stupid?

While I'm sad that this game will most likely never reach its fullest potential, what's already here is honestly fantastic

Phenomenal main cast of characters, fun and interesting mysteries, and a bunch of things both big and small that warm my Ace Attorney-obsessed heart

It may be rough around the edges, but it's also incredibly sincere, and its love for the series that inspired it is clear to see

I will protect Tyrion and Celeste with my life.

This might be just me but I find it incredibly hilarious how in most these types of cartoony action games the villains go to jail or have to do some kind of community service for comedic effect at the end but here they all just die and nobody comments on it

When Hanawa stood up to Mine and said "we are the men who erased their names" I got chills

White people when you tell them there will be symbiote at the function

It still makes me sad just how many kino ingredients there are in the finale of this game (and the og by extension) and it still manages to fumble it so hard thank god the later games stick the landing way better for the most part

Anyways, having actually played the og Yakuza 2 before this replay I can pretty definitively say that I prefer this remake, the removed content sucks but at the end of the day I like K2's more streamlined structure way more than Y2's cryptic bullshit and at least the new content is mostly pretty dope

I've made it a personal rule of mine to not trust anyone who dislikes this game

I would've simply made a giant dome that can filter out ultraviolet rays

Makoto Kagutsuchi is a dumbass

In a way, I feel X8 represents the X series really well; it has some pretty abysmal lows but also some astronomical highs and that's really what this series is all about

And by that I mean that this game is peak as hell and nobody understands it but me
