Though I love a lot about this game, its problems are well noted, and I''m certain you have heard enough about the HP bar, and slow animations, the nasty comp scene, some of the routes being sloggish in nature, having only 3 or so fire type families, the length of the game, or how the game kind of forces you to certain places and restricting your exploration sometimes. But I'm not gonna bore you with that. What I am gonna bore you with is how this game has one of the downright coolest bad guy teams, and how the music is some of the best in the series - if you like piano and some really neat midi noises especially. Some of the new mons in this game are fantastic, with several old pokemon given new evolutions, such as Rosalia, Magmar, and Magnemite. The most important, and downright applause worthy changes this game brought about was the physical special split, which finally made many typings and Pokemon viable because you can have any type have any type of attack, letting many old mons you may have imported have plenty of new strategies to keep things fresh. Oh, and one last thing: screw that lady who gives you a haunter with an everstone, and then mocks you.
