This game perfectly depicts both the horrors of space and the wonder of it. Luckily my wonder and curiosity for space is much bigger than the fear of it and the existential dread it makes me feel.

Everything I want in a horror game is present. Awesome sound + music, a good storyline, and an unmatched perfectly executed atmosphere that leaves you both uncomfortable and awestruck.

still waiting for the day team ninja's scriptwriters go through puberty

First 8-10 hours is a super creepy and quite difficult survival horror where you need to think every choice you make, even if it's just taking or not taking an object. Obviously the more you go forward in the game the more you understand how it works and what is important to take with you and what can be left behind. Enemies can get a bit boring but overwhelming in the first chapter. What is really good in this game is its atmosphere of solitude and danger. The top down view is phenomenal in the way it doesn't give you the player the expected knowledge of the surroundings. The sound design for the ambience is marvellous. If you like horror games and survival you must play Darkwood.
