This game does a few things very well (the environments in particular), and the rest is just kind of lackluster. The conclusion is unsatisfying; not just in the sense that it isn't what I wanted it to be, but it also doesn't feel like the conclusion to what the game was building to.

Its ambition exceeds its ability. I can appreciate what it's trying to do with characters and themes, but the writing and design are just too clunky and outdated to achieve any of those goals. Most of the music's pretty good, though.

The art is so good I want to replay it just to see all the scenes I missed the first time
