It's not perfect but I can't think of a perfect game. As far as enjoyment goes and as a fan of the og, i'd say 5/5.

Tekken 8 is the complete package.
I loved Street Fighter 6 but story mode was a lacking bit since it did not expand much on the lore. Character customization was cool but it was just for your own character and not the main.
Meanwhile MK1 story mode was super fun but that's where it ended. Online was boring very quick.

Tekken 8 has amazing customization right away. A great story mode, a great way to learn how to play with fighting against ghosts. A way to review your replays with tips on how to improve. I can't think of another game with this kind of feature.

it's not a perfect game. There is an upcoming Tekken shop which is all cosmetic and I'm 100% for it. They already gave us plenty to work with in the cosmetic department so this feels more like extra content they will be working on to continue supporting the game.
Plus there is already a balance patch, 2 weeks after the game has been out. I feel confident they will address the pluggers and missing UI features. (Like an easier way to invite someone to play that doesn't involve meeting them in a lounge if you're cross-play)

Overall a strong 4.5/5 stars from me.

Great game. First armored core i've played. Up until chapter 3 the missions can be challenging, especially the chapter 2 boss which required me to grind a bit to buy the gear i needed to finally beat it.
Once you figure out a build that works for you tho you can blast through the rest of the game. After that only the chapter 4 and 5 final bosses where a challenge but once you find the right setup it was great. A good balance of challenging but still satisfying. It took a while before it clicked for me but when it did it was fun.

If you're a fan of zone of the enders than this is in that realme of mech awesome. Add lots of customization and that classic FromSoftware difficulty
