Improves upon the original in basically every way. The graphics and soundtrack have been remastered, but greatly improved, while still remaining faithful to the original.

The combat has some nice quality of life features, however I think the main story content might have been a little too easy for my liking, and I wish a harder difficulty would have been implemented. This game did however add some post-game content, which definitely gave me the tough challenge I wanted and felt very rewarding.

This game took me roughly 15 hours to complete the main story and all the post-game content (while spending some extra time to reach max level). It does feel a little too short in my opinion, especially for an RPG, but this game is a blast from start to end and isn't bloated with filler like most RPGs.

Overall, I'd give this game an 8/10
