The World Ends With You for its final boss fight does a remix of the main theme twister, but with the tonality of a live street performance and takes that shit to eleven, so I wholeheartedly recommend throwing that on here
a lot of shmups could've been nominated here so I'd recommend at least listening to ZeroRanger's
and finally, there's a distinct lack of OPEN YOUR HEART/LIVE AND LEARN here

"Fancy Meat Computer" ( https://youtu.be/lL6C3AQ9Fc4 ) from Hylics 2 stands out for being the only openly aggressive and heavy song in a soundtrack that's mostly laid-back prog rock.
Evergrace's soundtrack is already insane, but "Edge of the World" (https://youtu.be/eixa_TizUuc) is such a chaotic and overwhelming piece, fitting for such a strange game.

also shadowlord is great. i'm sad that replicant ver. sqrt 1,5 kind of messed it up a little (they added some weird castlevania organs at the beginning that made me think like "uh... why??").
