I already did a lot of my own game journaling and logging so 70% of this is just transferring that onto here lmao.
my rating rules/scale:
5 stars means i love it/masterpiece
4 or 4 1/2 means it between great and amazing
3 or 3 1/2 means its good or really good
2 or 2 1/2 means it decent or okay
1 or 1/2 means it bad or mediocre
and then a half star means it terrible or just awful
and no stars mean its unplayable or i havent rated it yet

played the first plague tale game in preparation for this one coming to game pass only to find out you need a GTX 2000 series and an i7 at least to run it at a relatively smooth and stable rate so ill play it properly once I get around to upgrading my rig :(
Mario Kart but just worse and full of microtransactions and live service junk mechanics
For me, Inside was an improved iteration on the formula introduced in Limbo. the puzzles are fun yet not usually obvious, the atmosphere was great, and the end sequence was definitely weird but very enjoyable
