Yeah, I'm a gamer girl. Not just that: a really hardcore one. Like all the way down to my very core, actually (maybe that's a bad thing). My mother always says "you can tell by looking at someone whether or not they're going to be a gamer," and in some cases she's right. There are people out there who like games but aren't willing to go as far with them as me; however, those types of players don't interest me much. The more extreme ones—the gamers who put up pictures of their favorite characters on their profile and try desperately hard not to show any weakness when talking about them—I love. And even if they turn into real-life failures later on, the fact that they tried to do what they could for the sake of gaming gives me great hope.
