This game made me reorganise my room, just so I don’t get immediately caught trying to squeeze out every last bit of cum/content out of this game and my dick at the same time. Double Excitement. To this day I still know a few of the answers I had to memorise back in the day. I just wish the sequel was as good as this was.

What started for me as a „Just Basement“ Flash-Game demo on Newgrounds, whenever I was playing on the Computer in School, ended up being my first proper introduction into Rouge-Like Games. Highly breakable with lots of references to other games in the time-frame of this release. There were numerous updates to this game via paid DLC and a fully fledged sequel, which plays a lot better now than this does.

A lovely visual novel, set in an alternative NYC where monsters and humans live together and try to get along most of the time. People will talk to each other and to you, while you’re busy fixing them a hot drink and drawing latte art on top of it. The atmosphere is phenomenal and if you adore lo-fi hip hop, long rainy café nights, gossip and/or barista ASMR, you should be well served with Toge Productions „Coffee Talk.“
