I will never truly escape this clown car, they have STRUCK A FINE CHORD.

I'll keep playing this, it's possible my opinion will change one way or another, but for now I do really like it. The town building doesn't do much for me but it is cute, inventory management being half the battle itches a special part of my brain that most rogue likes miss out on. Super solid, can't think of another game to compare it to at the moment but it is definitely good.

I played for 80 hours and the story never started and I got sooooo bored.

My opinion flipped on this game a few times during my approximately 45 hours with it - so I like the art direction that's basically Fantasy Doom? Well sometimes yes - especially when you can actually make out what the enemies look like. How about the RPG mechanics? Well also sometimes, it's about what you would expect from a souls game with some builds being a lot more powerful than others, but most being viable. Anything I bring up for this game almost seems to sit on the edge of goodness in my heart. I don't think I died more than twice to any boss, with simple patterns and seemingly low damage - but every once in a while I would just get locked in a knock down combo where every hit was gonna send my ass to the floor no matter what I did. A combination of a weirdly long distance dodge and a strange feeling parry window usually made single enemies no threat, but any group of two an overwhelming challenge. The game has the same floaty and unfocused energy of Dark Souls 2, and I feel like if you're a DS2 fan you would probably feel at home playing this. It's never great, it's usually ok, sometimes mediocre, all of which land it a very middling score from me. I don't regret my time with it, and if they drop an expansion I'll probably even go back, but I'm not likely to recommend this to any of my friends.

Not sure how many wins I need to log this game as "complete" I'll probably play more from time to time. This is a fantastic upgrade to minesweeper, I love the art and music, I just wish there was more to it. Probably it's best feature is that the different characters you unlock do feel so much more different than so many other rogue likes. You strategy genuinely has to change from character to character, and that's worth commending alone.

A splendid little game that I hope does well enough to earn a sequel. Shockingly more interesting than it original appears with a really challenging and engaging core design. I recommend all fans of action games at least give it a shot!

FUCKEN LOVED THAT
GIMME THAT DLC NOWWWW

All of the problems I had with the game are squashed by how much I loved the story and all the fun collectibles. Can't wait for dlc!

This game has some of the most whack, unfun level design of all time. I would happily just play from boss fight to boss fight in a straight hallway, but every level I played up to chapter 8 was worse than the last. Finally they became too boring and grindy, I may return to this game later but it's unlikely.

Pretty much the exact kind of open world game I always get bored of halfway through and stop playing.

Plays fine, love all the music remixes, but the last thing any sane person wants out of their Mario Kart clone is this mobile game economy. Probably won't play any more.

The weakest part of this game is definitely the start for me, but by the mid point I was completely hooked. Tight and incredible boss fights from that point on, and much deeper and more interesting narrative than I was expecting. Actually like this a lot more than Bloodbourne, wish it was a bit polished in a few more areas, but can't overstate how much fun I had.

This is a good game that would be a great game if Sega had any fucking clue what they were doing as a business.

Was poised to give this game an 8 after 10 hours of play, but completing it around 50 hours it feels like another unfinished game. There's not enough to do and everything is starkly underwritten, with conversations being boring and forgettable through at least half the story. But the main thing that drove my personal rating down was the ending, both narratively and in terms of missions design it's just a bad time all around. And what the game seems to expect of you in terms of NG+? What is the point ! It's not like you can play even 2 drastically different runs.

I may go back to this game in some far flung future where massive dlc updates have added a lot, but I have 0 interest in playing anymore right now.

Still way better than Fallout 4!

Best Moonlight Great sword of all time
