Jesus this game is ugly visually. Music doesn't really stand out either

Why does this game spoil itself so much? The loading screens reveal cool locations way too early and the teleporters (which also make no sense lore-wise and feel out of place) bring you to cool places too early.
Pretty poor difficulty scaling and balancing too. So many bosses that I destroyed in literally five hits, and then sponge bosses than I grinded out listening to a podcast.
Repeat bosses were lame.
Exploration was intrinsically satisfying, but the extrinsic rewards sucked.
High fantasy GRRM lore was a bit much for me, the story felt muddy, not as clean as other fromsoft titles.
