This is a beautiful game! First off, it is a JRPG through and through. This won't convert you if you don't like turn-based battles and some of the familiar trappings that "old school" JRPGs have. This game is a throwback and unashamed of that fact. The story is a bit standard, with a couple of nice twists and turns. Nothing too crazy, but it's in the familiar that this game does well and finds its footing. The gameplay, your standard turn-based battles, and the unique "brave" and "default" battle systems from the previous games are good, probably the best they've ever been. The unique element is the awesome Job System. There are so many cool and interesting job combinations and strategies that you can come up with, and a lot of player freedom. The job system was probably my favorite aspect of this game. The visuals and music are great as well. Everything has this like storybook feel to it. This game also looks great in the Unreal Engine. Some of the textures do look a bit muddy when zoomed in or up close, but the overall atmosphere overrides that one blemish. Overall, a great JRPG that won't be winning any awards for inventiveness or bringing something new to the table. But, it's in perfecting the classics and bringing them to a new era that this game shines. A must-play if you like turn-based RPGs, great music, and a fun job system.

A complete underrated gem. With that out of the way, a little about the game. On the surface, it looks like a GTA clone; in some aspects, it is. But the unique story, setting, gameplay mechanics, and atmosphere make the game stand out. Hong Kong's setting is unique, and I've not seen it in other games. The visuals engage you in the world. The visuals, music, setting, characters, and dialogue are all great. This game really surprised me, in the first 5-10 hours I was having fun, but just like the main character who gets more immersed in the world he is living in, I got more engaged in the game the more I played and as the game world opened up to me. The unique dual cop/gangster storyline really has some cool twists and turns with great characters to match. Overall, a game that really surprised me and I am glad I picked it up.

Really nice companion piece to Uncharted 4. Really beautiful in certain sections and Chole does a great job filling in some of the banter and character moments that Nate Drake had. All and all a pretty good game and well worth a look.
