I've never played a musou game before, and after playing this I'm not sure I want to play another. Suffers from the same repetitiveness that plagues many modern titles with a lacklustre and boring story to boot. Additionally the game looks like hot shit on Switch and only runs at 30fps, which greatly affects the overall feel especially with a game like this. Was looking forward to trying some cool combos but the combat system is too dull and simple to really get any sort of satisfaction from it. AOC fails to carry on the legacy of BOTW (yes, they are two entirely different types of game but I digress) and while it certainly isn't a terrible game, I can really only recommend it to people who just REALLY like Dynasty Warriors type games. Disappointing af
