After playing FF Remake and preparing for Rebirth I saw this game and thought "well shit I guess I should play this before Rebirth" I went in knowing nothing, didn't even know this was a remake (clearly didn't think too much on the reunion in the title). I had fun with this game! The weakest part, and it is pretty weak is the dialogue... It's kinda bad. But the charm of Zack carries it. The story is interesting and after playing the demo portion of Rebirth... All I can say is that I am confused. I'll probably never return, but at least I didn't waste my time!

What a beautiful and pleasant surprise of a FREE dlc. If you would've told me the arc Kratos was going to experience when I played the first three games I would've never believed you. Such a wonderful chapter of his journey.

Finally got around to the DLC portion. You can tell that this was only made for the PS5, especially the final boss battle. Liked some of the new skills you unlocked and the new machines were cool to battle.

"Shortcut Unlocked" the video game

I feel like this game was a huge step backwards. Exploration wise, I had a lot of fun. Story wise, extremely boring. I had a lot of fun exploring but the hidden loading screens were ridiculous. Obviously the game is full of bugs and my game crashed three times, with one of them happening within the first 30mins. I'll play the third game to see how the journey ends but I was very disappointed with this one.

Spider-Man 2 is a fun return but at the end of the day I felt unfulfilled. I feel like I'll be in the minority here.

The positives first. The game obviously looks and feels great, swinging and now gliding around all of New York is so addicting. The fast traveling was insane! Playing as Venom might be the coolest thing to experience in any superhero game. Uh- is that it for positives? Kinda...

I don't hate this game, and the hype didn't get to me. The game just felt like the two pervious, especially if you played the first remastered. Now people won't mind that and I understand but it's hard not to compare this game to other big titles like the Arkham games or GoW Ragnarok.

I think the biggest issue is something that stems from just Spiderman himself, taking place in actual NYC. It's cool swinging around an extremely accurate city but do you know what is so much cooler? A fictionalized world to explore that we can't experience in real life.

The story is trying too hard. It takes a little bit to get into it which is fine, all stories take a while but Kraven killing off icons left and right didn't feel earned just watching it off a monitor. It would've had more of an impact if Spiderman tried to save them but failed and watched them die THAT would've been so much more powerful. Kraven's death felt earned and is probably the best part of the game. Where the game tries too hard is attempting to make you reallyyyyy care for Harry. Like I get it, but it's nowhere near the same weight as Aunt May and Doctor Octavius. If Harry was established in the first game then maybe! Then the game just ends, felt a little lackluster.

The combat is fine, nothing to get addictive too like in GoW, Returnal, or the Arkham games. I felt like the upgrades really didn't do much just gave me more of them.

I still had fun, I just wanted that next gen experience, they played it safe and that is okay I just hope they knock the next one out of the park.

I loved this game, I haven’t had this much fun all year. The fast pace movement, the random generated rooms, the guns and mods, the enemy types, the score, the visuals… it’s all spectacular. The only thing I can’t get behind is the actual “narrative” I would’ve been perfectly fine with just the visuals, the story just doesn’t make sense. And if I have to watch YouTube videos to “understand the story” then you’ve failed. But a game like this doesn’t need a great story cause the gameplay is awesome.

Had a lot of fun with the game! A really nice length and a lot of funny moments! I felt like the choose options were worth it as well. My issues (besides a few bad bugs I ran into) are they never stop talking. What I really mean is during combat scenarios, they just never stop talking 😂 They would start repeating themselves and it would get really annoying, especially on my second play through. Also the combat can get repetitive when playing chapters that are just battle after battle.

My Jak adventure has come to an end with a surprisingly fun racing game! There were really only two races that I struggled to get gold on but other than that I had a lot of fun with it! It's cool that this is cannon as well.

I guess I had expectations? And I guess I was disappointed? I'm not sure. I really enjoy the atmosphere and somewhat the gameplay. Where it really lacked for me was the story and dialogue. I just couldn't get into the story, and on top of that I'd say about last 40% of the dialogue is cringe or annoying. Especially the narration I hated that. I appreciated the game more on the second playthrough, I don't regret playing it but I'm still question myself what I thought this game was going to be.

2004

The best for sure, at the end of the day if you didn't grow up with these games you won't ADORE them but you will still have a fun time! Thank god they allowed more checkpoints in this one. I found myself using the different gun mods a lot it was really fun switching in-between them. I still never really used the dark eco side but LOVED the light eco mainly since I could heal myself. Hated the driving though, the drift is awful and the relentless enemies drove me insane. Back tracking issues as usual but regardless I really had fun with this one! Sadly not as horny as the second though.

Damn, what a let down after playing RE2. The game is extremely short, makes the knife literally pointless, introduces one of the worst dodges ever, turns the horror into action horror which was fine but never reached the level of fear like the police station in RE2. Nemesis is amazing though, he was such a threatening villain, it was really the only saving grace of the game.

While the visuals are story are wonderful the gameplay is extremely simple. Luckily you can beat this game in about two to three hours though so it's not that much of an issue. I don't regret playing it!

THIS GAME IS HORNY AS FUCK HOLY SHIT (I love it)
Way better than the first game, it's practically a reboot. But yes, it is pretty damn hard on certain missions based off the checkpoint system. The aiming as a little annoying and the constant flying back and forth between missions got repetitive. I get it though at the time this was groundbreaking and the developers really wanted you to admire what they built, which is pretty great. As for the platinum, thank god for the cheat system cause collecting all the orbs was gonna be a bitch I ended the game only finding 40ish

Here we go! Finally getting around to the Resident Evil franchise and I was pleasantly surprised with this game! Everything about the police station screamed horror I was terrified the whole time. The other areas, while entertaining, never reached that level of scary. The game ran so smooth and the combat was fantastic. The biggest issue is when doing the second run while the enemies are scattered differently and you can unlock things faster making it sorta fresh you still are still doing the same objectives. Finding the medallions, making the bell ring, grabbing the chess pieces. And I assume that is how the 1998 game worked and it was perfect for that era especially after unlocking the true ending but I found myself a little bored on my second run. Still at a lot of un regardless though! Platinum was easy thanks to the infinite rocket launcher ammo or oh boy this would've been a lot harder!

Getting around to this series after pulling the trigger on the HD bundle. Not a fan of this first game, it's the curse of "you had to be there". I didn't play this series growing up my only knowledge of Jak and Daxter is All Stars. So, as you could guess I was shocked to find out Jak doesn't talk and he doesn't have guns in this game.

It's your typical collectible platform game that was coming out around the same time. The camera and controls are a bitch to get use to and The health is brutal. I enjoyed the humor and atmosphere but here's hoping the next game is better.
