Campaign was a typical CoD campaign but everyone else being an echo chamber trashing on it. Best multiplayer in years

Great XCOM clone with its' own mechanics and ideas and at the same time it is a great Gears game.
This shouldn't have worked but it did<3

My favourite game I will never play again.

Me: oh cool this is fun, so cute, gonna go find stuff now
shovel, net, fishing pole, slingshot, legs, arms, neck break in your path
Me: ...

A dollhouse for the modern age, apparently playtested by Zen masters with infinite patience.

can roleplay as a cryptid that goes out at 3am, looks for my fat-assed ankha wife, and beats her with a net

This is probably the most excited I've been to play a game in a long time. That being said, I just can't get into it. I think it's because this game is a lot more sandbox-like since you can place furniture outside and landscape. But I'm not really the type to enjoy those features, so I guess I felt like this game didn't add much for me. However, I'm thinking my mind will change when I have more free time and I can put more thought into it, so for now, this review is tentative.

“Arthas, what are you doing, my son?”
“Succeeding you, Father.”

The best RTS campaign every put to computer, packed in with a map editor so good it launched who even knows how many new genres.

Probably the most impactful game ever in the history of gaming. So many games have direct lineage from this game, either through lore, gameplay, or design.
The campaign was great, ladder was great, social aspect was great, custom games were great.
It's a shame what Blizzard has become and how they've forgotten what made games like this one so good.
