This chapter made me actually excited for chapter 3. It is so obviously a huge improvement over chapter 1, although the core problems with Deltarune chapter 1 are still there, namely how unimportant the dichotomy of mercy and attacking are, but hey, it's a dating sim now so what's not to like

@Hylianhero777 unlike undertale, it's pretty obvious that killing/sparing in deltarune doesn't really matter. Undertale was entirely built around that system, but deltarune has other things it wants to do and finds more important. Its like social links in Persona 5: they aren't made very well, they don't serve a larger dynamic theme of the game, but they're still in the game because persona 3 and 4 had them.
Yeah I'm aware, it was a joke about the fact that... certain things have been discovered recently that actually might make this dichotomy more important than we all thought at first. If you don't know what I'm talking about look up "Deltarune Snowgrave"

@Hylianhero777 yeah lul, i didnt know about it until you told me about it. Its very weird how its clearly like the genocide route but its so arbitrarily hidden
