-Mom can I have fantasy medieval RPG?
-To kill monsters and do quests?
-Yeeeessss
Actually creates a real estate monopoly controlling the national economy like a boss

I get it, 3D Mario games are not for me. Although F.L.U.D.D. plays fine, the platforming sucks because Mario is slippery and many stages require precise jumping and extra techniques(like backflips and spins) which I find a bother to get the hang on, and the camera also is a drag because it has collision, so if you're near a wall or a wire mesh, you WILL get mad over the camera being in impossible angles to progress properly. Also, this mission-based approach from Mario 64 is so boring it feels like a chore playing. Ultimately, the lava boat level is one of the worst bullshits I've ever seen, specially from a game that's supposed to be very well funded and marketed. If it was the first stage of the game instead of the last I would've dropped it, but alas, I was too far gone already.

I wish more RPGs made the same that Fable did: a smaller scale world and storyline, but very dense in its roleplay mechanics, making it a fantasy life simulation of sorts.

This game is truly a work of art specially due to when it was released, although the controls play strangely at first and getting all the endings is repetitive at some times, so even being short, it feels a drag sometimes.

The more I played this game, the more I hated it for what it is. It's story, art and music are all that you expect from a Nier game, it's quality is on par with some of the best games offered in the market. However, this comes bundled with a lazy and absolutely shallow gameplay consisted of battles which autoplay and rely only on your setups gained from the gacha and upgrade systems. Apart from that, the game ends in a month from now(April 28th) and this story may be lost forever, which is a sin since this really is Nier 3, it is post-Automata and it summons lore from Drakengard and both previous Nier games, answering some questions and gives a lot more in exchange. It's a bittersweet piece, in the end.

MachineGames's gameplay + Arkane's level design would make this an excellent playthrough, if not plagued by Bethesda/Zenimax's incompetence in maintaining a usefull netcode, turning it into an annoying and stressful experience.

Seems like an evolution of Metroid, but you have to grind for everything(HP, strength, coins, even to face the final boss) which grows tiresome, specially in the beginning where you're very weak and have few weapons at your disposal. Also has missable itens which are needed to get stronger and get the best ending, definitely recommend a guide or a map, specially for the confusing dungeon levels.

Tetris is the most ingenious entertainment software ever created. Of course, then Nintendo had to go and show the power of capitalism by creating Mode B which almost gave me a seizure trying to play on level 9-5

The psychology theme is excellently applied and developed, making this a superb 3D platformer, SANS the horrible final sections of the game which seem to be designed by a schizophrenic, specially the asylum tower. Also, it sucks that the Xbox version doesn't have widescreen or achievements.

The story is AA level of ingenuity with Layton's shenanigans, the new characters are very charismatic and the interactions between the two parties are all welcome. The gameplay, to me, has its fair share of both puzzle solving and trial defending. It's a solid addition to both franchises.

Ugly and silly rail shooter that I used to play as a kid. Nothing really worthy of note

Mixing Demon's Crest and Populous, this game is a technical and artistic landmark, absolutely recommended, a bit rough on learning the ropes, but after that the game flows like water on a riverbed.

Very charming and fun to play, has some bugs but otherwise very solid after you get the hang of it

This game perfectly encapsulates what does it mean to work under pressure, while teaching you the mechanics and feeling with your own mistakes and experimentations.

Turnin AC into an RPG was the worst idea ever, although the ambientation and story are excellent, the game always halts your progress on what you want to do based on "Level". Older AC games also had upgrades on side quests but with them you unlocked new approaches to the missions instead of just seeing a number go up. Also, it's hilarious that an enemy 3 levels ahead will insta kill you while you can't even graze it, but with 2 levels it's very doable, it's not proportional and doesn't feel natural in any way. The tools which are signature of the franchise only work on low level enemies, but the game scales up underleveled enemies, so it makes the mechanic almost useless. Not to mention the stealth kills, which really are only interesting if you cheese the high level enemies, attacking them then running until they stop combat, then rinse and repeat.
