I'm really put off by Bluepoint remakes butchering the visual directions of the games they remake. It inherently changes the mood and tone of the experience in a way that does not hit the same.

iunno i feel the only thing they really didn't fully capture in sotc was like, the feel of the ui, and wander's very pissed off and dirty looking face. that WOOSH effect on the ps2's map is pretty sorely missed, but that's about it imo

definitely not as many liberties being taken here as in something like demon's souls
